Welcome to the IET DAVV Alumni Network at www.ietdavvalumni.com. By creating an account or using this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Purpose of the network

This platform is a community space for alumni of the Institute of Engineering & Technology, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (IET DAVV), Indore. It supports directory discovery, professional networking, news, events, messaging, and related alumni activities.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must provide accurate registration information, including a valid email address.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • New profiles may require administrator approval before appearing in the public alumni directory.
  • We may suspend or remove accounts that are inaccurate, abusive, fraudulent, or otherwise harmful to the community.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Harass, impersonate, or misrepresent other members or the institute.
  • Post unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, or misleading content.
  • Spam members, scrape the directory, or misuse messaging features.
  • Attempt to disrupt site security, access accounts without authorization, or reverse engineer the service.
  • Use the platform for commercial solicitation except where expressly permitted (for example, legitimate job postings).

4. Member content

You retain ownership of content you submit (such as profile text, photos, job posts, or messages). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the Alumni Network. You are solely responsible for the content you share.

5. Directory visibility and privacy

Approved profiles may be visible to other members according to site rules. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how personal information is collected and used. Marketing emails are optional and require a separate opt-in consent.

6. Jobs, events, and third-party links

Job listings, event details, and external links may be provided by members or third parties. We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or outcome of any opportunity, and we are not a party to employment or other arrangements made between users.

7. Intellectual property

Site design, branding, and software are owned by or licensed to the IET DAVV Alumni Network operators. You may not copy or reuse them except as allowed by these Terms or with prior written permission.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that the directory will always be complete. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site.

9. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms, modify features, or discontinue parts of the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. You may stop using the service at any time; we may terminate access for violations of these Terms.

10. Governing community context

This network is operated for the alumni community associated with IET DAVV, Indore. These Terms are intended to protect a respectful professional community and should be interpreted in that spirit.
